Panel Cut Optimizer
A focused offline shop utility for makerspace members, sign-shop fabricators and small cabinet builders who cut sheet goods — plywood, colored MDF, acrylic, aluminum composite. The core mechanic is a guillotine cut-list solver: the user declares what stock panels are on the rack and what parts must come out of them (with kerf, trim margin, grain lock and rotation policy), and the app computes a low-waste nested layout and draws it as a labeled cutting diagram. The visual world is technical shop drawing: color-coded sheet thumbnails, dimension callouts, hatched waste zones, yield percentages — not a decorative canvas or sandbox. Every job lives offline in a local SwiftData store, can be exported as a portable .cutplan file, and leftovers above a threshold become reusable offcut stock that future jobs consume before opening a fresh sheet.
